0Mr. Arthur Brooke Ballard, Sr., age 91, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Mr. Ballard was born Sept. 1, 1919 in Fulton County.
Mr. Ballard was a long-time member of The Rock Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
He was preceded in death by his son, Arthur B. Ballard, Jr. and is survived by his wife of 72 years, Dolly Ballard of Fayetteville; sons, William Richard (Bill) Ballard and his wife, Betty of Tucker; Mark Ballard and his wife, Joy of Peachtree City; daughter, Jeannie Ballard Wright of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 3 on the way.
A funeral service was held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Lendell Ainsworth officiating. Interment followed at The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
