Annual survey now online, confiscated items up for auction, eagle scout achievements, and more!
Tell us what you think! Annual survey now online through February 28
The City of Peachtree City wants to know what its residents think about the way the City is operated and how tax dollars are spent. Residents can take the online survey by visiting www.peachtree-city.org and selecting the 2011 Resident Survey option from the main page, and then answering the questions provided. For those unable to take the survey online, printed copies are available at City Hall and the Peachtree City Library. Both versions provide the opportunity to comment on any additional issues that may be of concern. Survey responses will be accepted through February 28, and results will be presented to the Mayor and City Council at the 2011 Retreat, which has tentatively been scheduled for the end of March.

Congratulations Boy Scout Troop 279!
Boy Scout Troop 279 out of Holy Trinity had a record-breaking year in 2010, with 15 boys achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. The troops’ BSA Council is currently # 3 in the nation with regard to Eagles. Peachtree City is known for producing Eagle Scouts because of the high level of parental involvement in our troops.
