Lillian E. Gray, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away on January 12, 2018.
She was born on May 29, 1935 in Rahway, N.J. to the late Julian and Edna Deason. She worked in the payroll department at Sears for over 20 years. She also was a member of Fayetteville Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clark “Dick” Gray; her daughter, Pamela Jean Gray; and her sisters, Janet Guild and Barbara Shelby.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna and John Jenkins of Fayetteville; her sons, Richard and Valerie Gray, Wayne Gray, and Robbie and Dottie Gray, all of Fayetteville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Paul and Joan Deason and John Deason.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Dave Rogers and Pastor John Jenkins officiating. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, Ga. The family received friends at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018.
