The Sears store at 539 North Glynn Street in Fayetteville was the target of burglars Monday morning who made away with a wall-mounted television and a chain saw.
Police spokesperson Steve Crawshaw said an officer on patrol discovered a broken window on the Sears storefront at 7:46 a.m. Monday. The front window had been smashed in with a rock, he said.
Store employees determined that a 50-inch television mounted on a wall had been stolen, along with a chain saw, Crawshaw said.
