Fayette Presbyterian Youth held a fund raising event to benefit Fayette Samaritans, the local community food pantry.

The youth group’s annual “Souper Bowl of Caring” featured a chili and soup cook-off complete with prizes for the best entries. Participants sampled each dish and voted on their favorites.

After lunch, kids and adults enjoyed football related games and a photo booth.

Canned food and financial donations were accepted and the youth sent Fayette Samaritans the donations, totaling $813.00, plus a shopping cart full of food.
