Anna Joyce Fincher, 84, a longtime resident in Fayette and Coweta Counties, passed away November 13, 2016 at Southwest Christian Care in Union City.
Mrs. Fincher was born August 4, 1932 in LaGrange, Ga. to the late Henry and Dollie P. Bonner. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Ga. and loved singing in the choir. Mrs. Fincher retired after 16 years as a military analyst at Ft. McPherson. She loved being with family and friends and brought joy and her sense of humor to all she met. Mrs. Fincher was an avid runner, participating in the Peachtree Road Race numerous times.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Clyde R. Fincher; son, Robert “Bobby” Fincher; and a brother-in-law, Roger Keeble.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Charles Elliott; grandson, Brandon and Mary Bentley; great grandson, Austin Bentley; sister, June Keeble; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. November 15, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Wood officiating. Family and friends gathered from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment was at 2 p.m. in Restlawn Memory Gardens, LaGrange, Ga.
