St. Andrew’s in the Pines Episcopal Church honored its oldest member, Marion Howells (center, front) , with a 100th birthday celebration in the parish hall on Saturday, Oct. 8. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on Oct. 10, 1916, Marion graduated from Shaw High School and retired from the Cleveland Public Library. Marion and her husband William moved to Peachtree City in 1981. Her son William, his wife, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren along with family and friends from around the county joined Marion and her St. Andrew’s friends to celebrate.
