Geri Mitchell, age 79, a resident of Fayetteville, Ga. since 1977, surrounded by her loving family at Piedmont Fayette Hospital on October 30, 2016 was welcomed Home by her Lord and Savior. Geri served her Lord thru family, friends and 16 years of devoted hospital volunteer work, assisting incoming patients at the Surgical Services Desk at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
Geri is survived by her loving family, her husband Jerry; her daughters, Debbie and Stacey; her sons, Steve and Chris; her grandchildren, Randy, Nick, Joshua, Steven, Stephanie, Victoria, Colton and Jack; and her great-grandchildren, Cole, Megan, Matthew, Mason, Michael, Sydney and Dillon.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at New Hope South, with Minister Hugh Kirby officiating.
