John David Bernhard, 73, of Fayetteville passed away on October 23, 2016.
He was born on January 16, 1943 in Waynesboro, Ga. to John and Mary Agnes Bernhard. He was employed by Unisys Corporation as a computer engineer and proudly served his country in the Air Force and Army Reserves.
John David was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia Hammonds Bernhard; and his brother, Malcolm Edd Bernhard.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald David Bernhard and John Edd Bernhard; his brother, Gerald Hugh Bernhard; his sisters, Linda Blackburn and Vicki McLucas; and many extended family members and friends.
