Festival set for Oct. 21

Fayette County’s second annual public safety fall festival is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 21, 5:30-8 p.m. at the Fayette County Justice Center, 1 Center Drive in Fayetteville, Sheriff Barry Babb’s office announced.

Local residents are invited to come out and meet members from the Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department, and Marshals Office. There will be children’s activities to include touring Sheriff’s Patrol cars and Fire Department ladder trucks as well as hayrides, K-9 Team demonstrations, SWAT Team, games, food, music and trick-or-treat with plenty of candy.
