Caelyn Raine Olds, 16, of Griffin passed away on October 8, 2016.
She was born in Natchez, Miss. on April 16, 2000 to Jonathan Olds and Casie Adams. She was part of the Classical Conversations/South Fayetteville Challenge Community and Fayette County 4-H. Caelyn was very active in church, assistant teacher in Bible class, loved to sing and listen to music.
Caelyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Donna Money and her paternal grandfather, Lonnie Olds.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Casie and Nick Adams; her father, Jonathan Olds; her siblings, Conner Olds, Carly Adams, Cole Adams, Canaan Adams, Caleb Adams; her siblings in Louisiana, Alexandra Olds, Leo Olds and Olivia Olds; her maternal grandfather, Donald Wayne Money (Elaine); her paternal grandmother, Loena Olds; step-paternal grandparents, Robert Adams (Gayle); great-grandmother, Anita Alexander; step great-grandmother, Omilee Chavers; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service for Caelyn will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Minister James Pasley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, 797 Memorial Drive, Griffin, Ga. 30223. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, October 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
