Helen Louise Williams, 93, of Peachtree City, passed away October 5, 2016.
Born in Haralson, Ga. to the late Otis Lamar and Myrtle Lou Thompson, she was a long time member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Forest Park and currently was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, David Williams.
She is survived by her son, Joel (Cheryl) Williams; daughter, Lynn (Eddie) Porter; granddaughters, Jennie Williams and Hannah Huckaby; and sister, Jean Thompson.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 9, 2016, at 3 p.m., at Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Haralson, with Pastor Justin Kollmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 8, 2016, from 4-6 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Helen’s memory to Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Haralson.
