Election dates to remember

With the general election coming Nov. 8, here are some other dates to remember.

The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 11, and Fayette County residents may register online at https://registertovote.sos.ga.gov/GAOLVR/welcome.do#no-back-button.

Advance voting Is available weekdays from Oct. 17 to Nov. 4 at the Fayette County Elections Office, Peachtree City Library, and Tyrone Town Hall. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Saturday voting will be open Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fayette County Elections Office, 140 Stonewall Avenue in Fayetteville.

There is no voting Monday, Nov. 7.

Voters go to their regular polling places Tuesday, Nov. 8, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. for the general election. Find your polling place at https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do.
