0Amilee G. (Vicky) Johnson, 86, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Southwest Christian Hospice.
She was born in Lexington, S.C. on September 7, 1929. She is a member of National Heights Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil J. Johnson, Sr. and parents, Ryan Tillman and Ruth Hall Gantt.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail J.(Don) Nelson; son, James (Pat) Johnson; step son, Ronnie (Carolyn) Taylor; grandchildren, Lori (Tommy) Paterson, Jared (Kim) Nelson, Tara (Wade) Craighead and Meredith (Harris) Hornbuckle; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Adele Bodie and Florie Ligon.
The funeral service was Monday, June 27, 2016, 3 p.m. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Augusta, Ga. with Reverend J.W. Wallis officiating. The family received friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations are made to Southwest Christian Hospice. www.swchristiancare.org/hospice.
