Aventure Aviation is the recipient of the seventh annual 2016 Global Impact Award. This year’s ceremony took place April 20 at the Global Impact Awards Luncheon at the Georgia Aquarium.
The event is hosted by the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Global Commerce Council to honor international business excellence, innovation and leadership. Companies and organizations compete in four categories: foreign investment, global business growth, innovation and global partner.
Aventure won the award in the Global Business Growth Category, beating out major competitors Equifax and InComm. This category recognizes a metro Atlanta organization or company that has exhibited significant growth globally in terms of international investment, export of goods and services and/or international partnerships.
Attending on behalf of Aventure were Zaheer Faruqi, president; Talha Faruqi, vice president of operations; and Maria Brodzik, controller.

The luncheon was emceed by Fred Blankenship, morning anchor for Channel 2 Action News, and the keynote speaker was David Abney, chairman and CEO of UPS.
