Gerald “Papa” Molloy of Fayetteville Ga. passed on December 21, 2015 of acute transverse myelitis.

He joins his wife, Rita DeRoos, and lives on in 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grand children. Originally born in the Netherlands he went onto work as an industrial engineer for Emerson in Statesboro, Ga. He retired in 1996 to then enjoy a life full of family, games, and laughter. His love of sailing, needlework, and card games only paled to the love he had for his family. Even in his last moments he selflessly gave wisdom, truth, and concern. Papa was truly a man to aspire to be like, and many will miss him.
