0Mr. Jimmie E. Laster, of Tyrone passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edie Laster; children, JoAnn Benson and her husband Mike of Winder, Yvette Hammond and her husband Charles of Duluth, John Laster and his wife Kasee of Statham; foster daughter, Mary Greenwood and her husband Mark of Oxford, Ala.; brother, Bobbie Laster and his wife Nancy of Winterville, N.C.; aunt, Louise Blair and her husband Howard of Tyrone; grandchildren, Meriam (Geremy), Joshua (Jessica), Sarah (Joshua), Caleb (Laura), Angela (Michael), Carson, Georgia, and Julia; great grandchildren, William, Matthew, Kelly, Judah, Asher, Levi, Sydney, Stacia.
A funeral service was held Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Deacon John Edge officiating. Interment followed at Midway UMC Cemetery in Carl, Ga. at 4:30 p.m.
