Greg Wallis, 42, of Fayetteville

Mr. Greg Wallis, 42, of Fayetteville, died November 25, 2015.

He was an Eagle Scout, a 1991 graduate of Fayette County High School, and attended the University of Georgia. Greg was a champion to many as he continued through life with a great attitude while dealing with the struggles of cancer and diabetes. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his father Ralph Wallis of Fayetteville; his mother Joann & Larry Jones of Fayetteville; brother Mike & Jennifer Wallis and their children Garrett and Brooke, of Zebulon; his grandmother Lillie Earnest of Fayetteville; and a large extended family including his biological mother and father and their families.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial followed at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday.
