0Mildred (Massengale) Jones passed away on July 20, 2015.
She was born in Fayette County, Ga. on May 6, 1925 to William Kendrick and Bernice (Shell) Massengale. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 57 years, Winton F. Jones.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Richard Pace, Covington, and Angela and Larry Briscoe, Covington; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Alice and Don Odom of Fayetteville; beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Dr. David Chancey officiating.
Interment followed the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery, College Park, Ga. The family received friends from 1- 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to McDonough Road Baptist Church, 352 McDonough Road, Fayetteville, Ga. 30215.
