All families with students attending elementary grades this fall in Fayette County’s public schools can get a head start on the school year by getting acquainted with their teachers a few days early.
“Meet the Teacher” events will take place simultaneously at all elementary schools in the county Tuesday, Aug. 4, 4-6 p.m. Check with your individual school for kindergarten and pre-K classes.
The first day of the school year is Thursday, Aug. 6.
