The Center for Business and International Negotiation in the College of Business at Clayton State University will be presenting a free, three-hour seminar June 5 for nonprofit organizations entitled, “Conflict Resolution Skills for Not-for-Profits.”
Although there is no cost for attendees, preregistration is required. Space is limited, so a maximum of three attendees are permitted from each organization. According to Center Director Dr. Judith Stilz Ogden, nonprofits are faced with a number of unique management issues, including those involving conflict, and this seminar will present techniques and strategies for dealing with those issues.
In addition to Ogden, presenters at the seminar will include, Center Associate Director Dr. Diane Fulton, and opening speaker, Bob Berlin, president and lead trainer of the New DMA, Inc., and a Georgia Mediator.
Registration will run from 8:45 a.m. to 9 a.m., with presentations from 9 a.m. to noon.
