Zachary Burson is the new director of contemporary worship at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. He leaves a position at Covington Christian Church, where he served two and a half years. He is also assistant manager at Music and Arts in Peachtree City.
Burson is a guitarist and singer. He has been a musician, band member and church musician since high school. His previous pastor, Tim Bolen, said, “He is really talented but humble. He can play anything.”
According to COS Music Minister David Beecher, “Zach has already shown skill, enthusiasm, and flexibility. We are excited to welcome him to Christ Our Shepherd.”
The church’s contemporary praise service is at 10:50 Sunday mornings; traditional services are at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sundays, and 7 p.m. Saturdays.
