Sandra C. Willing, 69, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed on Sunday, April 19, 2015.
She was born on August 26, 1945 in Newport News, Va. to the late Thomas and Betty Connaughton. She raised a son and daughter, helped raise 5 grandkids, was married to the same man for over 51 years, she survived over 15 surgeries through her battle with breast cancer, and she was one of the strongest, bravest women her family has or will ever know. Sandra was a Harley Davidson riding, cruise ship vacationing, toes in the sand loving woman. She was one special lady- mother, grandmother, and loving wife of 51 years to her husband, best friend to her husband for 56 years, and a special friend to so many. She loved and was loved by her family to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and one grandchild, Aaron Williams.
Sandra is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Willing whom she married in Aiken, S.C. on February 15, 1964; her son, Scott Aaron Willing; her daughter, Susan Willing Williams; her grandchildren, Averi Williams, Ashtyn Williams, Anderson Williams, and Amelia Williams; one brother, Tony Connaughton and his wife, Nancy of Tifton, Ga; and one sister-in-law, Angelle Beaty and her husband, Bob of Edisto Beach, S.C.
