Entered into eternal rest on the morning of March 7, 2015, Stephen Paul Wetter was the husband of Pamela Joyce Wetter of Fayetteville, Ga. The relatives and friends of Stephen and Pamela Wetter are invited to attend the memorial service at the Mowell Funeral Home, 200 Robinson Road; Peachtree City, Ga. 30269 on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2 p.m.
Stephen was born October 9, 1954 in Geneva, Ill., a son of Charles Wetter and Elinor Vance. He attended the University of Illinois and graduated with two degrees: Electrical Engineering and German Language. He retired from Caterpillar after 35 years where he was recognized as a technical expert for power generation. He was a consultant in his own LLC at the time of his passing. Stephen enjoyed exploring the world with his family and had traveled to 102 countries. Stephen also enjoyed riding steam trains and building a model train set with his grandchildren.
Stephen is survived by his wife Pamela; son Patrick and wife Katy; daughter Kimberly; grandchildren Jacob, Andrew, and Carolyn Wetter; father Charles Wetter; brothers Scott, Robert, and Richard Wetter.
He was predeceased in death by a brother, Stewart Wetter, and mother, Elinor Vance.
