0The McIntosh High School Chiefettes Dance Team are state champions for the sixth year in a row.
The Chiefettes competed in the Georgia Dance Championship on Feb. 7 and won First Place in both the Pom and Jazz category, making them state champions.
In the Teen Solo division, Izzy Roberts brought home the First Place trophy, and Lauren Shelfo placed seventh. In the Senior Solo division, Madison Immel earned the First Place trophy, Darby Smith placed second, and Ally Cox placed third out of 36 competitors.
