Walter Kenneth (Kenny) Dunn, 82, of Fayetteville passed away January 3, 2015.
Mr. Dunn proudly served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Delta Air Lines in 1990 as an Inspector after 34 years of service. He was an avid bass fisherman and also loved to take care of his farm animals and collect coins. He was a proud Papa and enjoyed spending many weekends with his granddaughter, Suzanne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruel and Nellie Ruth Dunn; his wife, Jean Pope Dunn; his daughter, Cheryl; three brothers, Wylie, Clyde and James; one sister, Carolyn; and son-in-law Rusty Snellgrove.
He is survived by Debbie and Jeff Ray of Fayetteville, and Karin Dunn Snellgrove of Mansfield; granddaughters Suzanne Long of Mansfield, and Dixie Bryan of McDonough; brothers, Harry and Danny; and sisters, Ruth and Mary Jane; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Ga. The family received friends Monday, January 5, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, www.americancancersociety.org.
