Fayette County High School’s Allen Wins at FCCLA National Conference

Fayette County High’s Londyn Allen won gold at the 2026 Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Leadership Conference.

Allen won 1st place in the Entrepreneurship Competitive event. She also gained valuable insight by attending leadership sessions and workshops. Allen visited the FCCLA Expo, participated in the FCCLA Rally on Capitol Hill, explored Washington, D.C., and connected with FCCLA Members from other states.

The FCHS chapter was among 170 delegates representing Georgia and more than 10,000 FCCLA members, advisers, and guests from across the nation, Puerto Rico, and American Samoa who gathered for five days of leadership development, career exploration, competition, recognition, service, and connection.

“For our chapter, the National Leadership Conference was more than a trip,” said FCHS adviser Wendy Moore. “It was an opportunity to see what is possible when students are given the skills, support, and confidence to lead.”

The mission of FCCLA is to boost personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education and provide opportunities for personal development and preparation for adult life while promoting family and consumer sciences, family and consumer sciences careers, and related occupations.
