Mrs. Rachel McAteer, 75, of Fayetteville, died December 6, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy McAteer, Sr.

She is survived by her children: daughter Melodie & Tom Russell of Hiram, Ga.; Chris McAteer of Jonesboro; daughter Tracy McAteer of Fayetteville; daughter Lisa McAteer of Fayetteville; son Billy McAteer of Cincinnati, Ohio; son Jason McAteer of Stockbridge; son Ryan McAteer & his partner Rick Bodwell of Snellville; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, as well as several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. McAteer were held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. Burial followed at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family received friends on Monday at the funeral home.
