McIntosh Hall of Fame announces Class of 2026

The McIntosh High School Sports and Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame has announced the inductees for the Class of 2026.

The inductees in the 13th annual class are Kristin Jacobson Leeper, Katie Dale, and Taylor Huntley.

Leeper (Class of 1995) was a soccer star for the Chiefs. A four-year letter winner and team captain, she won three state championships and twice earned All-State accolades. She went on to play at the University of Georgia where she earned All-SEC Academic Honors three times.

Dale (Class of 2005) dominated the golf course at McIntosh, paving the way to a standout collegiate career. At Oglethorpe University, she was a 4-time Academic All-American and All-Southern Conference 1st Team honoree. She competed in the NCAA National Golf Tournament and was inducted into the Oglethorpe Hall of Fame.

Huntley (Class of 2014) was a star runner. He was an individual state champion in the 800 meter in 2013 and 2014 as well as a part of the state champion cross country team in 2012 and track & field team in 2013. He went on to compete for Kennesaw State where he holds multiple records.

Hall of Fame weekend will be celebrated October 23 and 24. The new inductees will be honored at the Friday night football game against Northside, with the induction celebration the following night.
