Oak Grove Elementary 1st graders put on their chef hats to cook up fractions pizza.
As part of their math unit on fractions, students could choose their toppings and decide if they wanted those toppings on half, a quarter, or the whole pizza. They designed clipart of the various toppings, then “built” their pizzas.
Partners Pizza generously donated boxes to hold them, and they went on display in the school library.
