Fayette County Pitch Contest Returns with Shark Tank-Style Showdown for Local Entrepreneurs

Finalists Will Compete Live on November 18 in a High-Energy Community Event

The Fayette Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Launch Fayette and Jason Hunter Design, is proud to present the 2025 Fayette County Pitch Contest — a dynamic, Shark Tank-style competition where local entrepreneurs showcase their ideas to a live audience and panel of expert judges.

This year’s contest will take place on Tuesday, November 18, from 5:00–8:00 PM, at the Starrs Mill High School Auditorium in Peachtree City.

Unlike traditional pitch events, this one comes with a twist: each judge receives $10,000 in Startup Fayette Dollars—custom event currency used to “invest” in the ideas they believe in most. After all five finalists have pitched, judges also award a $2,000 Wildcard to give one last push to their standout choice.

The event will feature five finalists, selected through a preliminary pitch round on October 21. Entrepreneurs from all industries are encouraged to apply, especially those planning to grow or launch in Fayette County. The application is open now through October 16 at https://startupfayette.org.

Past winners have included innovative businesses in health tech, food & beverage, children’s products, and app development. This year’s contest promises to spotlight another exciting group of changemakers ready to shape the future of local business.

“This isn’t just a competition,” says Jason Bass, event co-organizer and founder of Jason Hunter Design. “It’s a celebration of entrepreneurship, creativity, and the incredible talent growing right here in our community.”
