Top students for Class of 2025 named in Fayette

Fayette County Public Schools will soon celebrate graduation, and the Class of 2025 valedictorians and salutatorians for the five county high schools will be at the head of the class on May 23. 

Fayette County High’s valedictorian is Jesna Thomas. Thomas will attend the University of Pennsylvania and major in architecture. The salutatorian is Marianely Ortiz-Valle. Ortiz-Valle will attend the University of Georgia and major in biochemistry. 

McIntosh’s valedictorian is Krish Sarin. Sarin will attend Georgia Tech and major in computer science. The salutatorian is Raaga Sundar. Sundar will attend Georgia Tech and major in aerospace engineering with a microeconomics minor. 

Sandy Creek’s valedictorian is Deisy Anaya Plascencia. Anaya Plascencia will attend Emory University. The salutatorian is Madison Lohr. Lohr will attend Rochester Institute of Technology.

Starr’s Mill’s valedictorian is Mathew “Jacob” Ramsey. Ramsey will attend Georgia Tech and major in industrial & systems engineering. The salutatorian is Shannon Callaghan. Callaghan will attend the US Air Force Academy and major in systems engineering. 

Whitewater’s valedictorian is Carrick Stoppford. Stoppford will attend Georgia Tech and major in computer science. The salutatorian is Carpenter Ray. Ray will attend Georgia Tech and major in mathematics.
