Harry “Paul” Lemming, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away Mar. 30, 2014.

He proudly served as a staff sargent in the US Air Force and a member of a P51 crew during WWII. He was active in Civitan International.

He was ordained as a deacon at Lakewood Heights Baptist Church under Rev. Bill Rainwater and also served at Dogwood Hills and Meadows Baptist Church. Mr. Lemming was a long-time member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School.

He was self-employed as a jeweler and expert watchmaker until his retirement in 1989. Photography was also one of his hobbies.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Paula Sellers and son-in-law Weyman Sellers. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Estelle Lemming of Fayetteville; sister-in-law Dorothy Lemming; and several nieces & nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wed., April 2, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Glenn Stringham will officiate.

The burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
