Herobox is seeking 10 injured veterans from recent conflicts who would like to participate in a NASCAR event called Project Green Flag.

The event includes an all-expenses paid day at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Friday March 7, with a ride along in a NASCAR car, meals, a meet and greet with racers and Herobox/NASCAR gear.

Project Green Flag is designed to provide a safe and therapeutic experience for injured veterans. The idea is to spark injured veterans who are eager to start their new journey, according to Herobox founder Ryan Housley.

“Racing is an exciting and stimulating activity where our heroes can escape their current struggles and immerse themselves in g-forces,” Housley said. “PGF fosters camaraderie and gives the veterans a sense of pride and accomplishment.”

To sign up for the program, contact Housley at 1-866-999-HERO (4376) or via email at ryan@herobox.org.
