Judith Ann Grisham, 56, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away January 24, 2014, after a well-fought battle with cancer.

Judy was born and raised in Santa Maria, Calif. Her childhood was spent traveling around the countryside and beaches of California, where her father, Roland S. Herold, drew inspiration for his many paintings. After graduating from Righetti High School in 1975, she attended college in Colorado Springs, Co. While there, she met her husband of over thirty years, Tad Alan Grisham, who graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1980 and became a pilot in the United States Air Force. After moving around the country, Judy and Tad, with their sons Mathew and Davis, settled in beautiful Peachtree City, Ga. Both boys graduated from local universities and now call the Atlanta area their home. Judy was very involved with the local community, volunteering her time at the schools her sons attended. She also enjoyed antiquing, geocaching, and taking many family vacations to the happiest places on Earth (Disneyland and Walt Disney World).

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Tad Grisham, and her father, Roland S. Herold.

She is survived by her sons, Mathew Grisham of Atlanta, Ga., and Davis Grisham of Peachtree City, Ga., her mother, Betty Herold of Reno, Nev., and her sister, Nancy Barna of Truckee, Calif.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Southwest Christian Care Hospice in Union City, Ga.
