CDM seminar focuses on single women
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), 114 W. Campbellton Street, Fairburn,, will host a seminar titled “All The Single Ladies” on Friday, March 19 at 8:30pm. The speaker will be Pastor Timothy Frazier who will discuss “the truth about what and how men think about women.” For more information and/or directions, contact the CDM office, 770-969-8370. Learn about Christian faith traditions
Bethany United Methodist Church presently has a special “Third Sunday Fellowship” at 5 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month, with an informal pot-luck dinner, games and study. The current study is “Christianity’s Family Tree” by Adam Hamilton and is an exploration of different Christian faith traditions. Bethany is at 607 Rivers Rd. Dia de la Familia Health Fair planned
On Saturday, March 20, 2010 Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will once again host a free Health Fair for anyone who does not have health insurance. Screenings for breast cancer, HIV, body mass index, hearing, vision and dental, as well as screenings for diabetes and cholesterol and many other services will be offered free of charge from 8 a.m. until noon. Those wishing to have bloodwork should come in a total fast in order to qualify. For more information, call 770-487-5352.

Mt. Olive announces weekend events
The Mt. Olive Baptist Church will celebrate Family and Friends weekend on March 20 and 21. Talent performances and a free dinner are set for Saturday from 4-6 p.m. Sunday morning at 11 a.m. will feature “Seed of Abraham celebrating 100 years of blessings.” The community is invited to come and share these events. Brooks UMC thrift shop plans clearance
The Second Chance Thrift Shop, an outreach of Brooks United Methodist Church, will have a giant clearance sale on Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.in the gym at Brooks United Methodist Church. The ladies will also have a bake sale. Proceeds from all purchases will go to local, national and international mission organizations. Brooks United Methodist Church is three miles south of Ga. Summit plans egg hunt, barbecue

Inman plans easter Egg Hunt

Steve Green will appear in PTC
Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will host the award-winning, internationally known Christian artist Steve Green, joined by choir and orchestra, Sunday, March 28, at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10. Woolsey to present Easter Cantata

Trip to Oberammergau set for August
The community is invited to join National Heights Baptist Church on a trip to Austria and the Oberammergau Passion Play, leaving Atlanta on August 26. The original Passion Play began in 1634 when villagers of Oberammergau bowed to perform a play depicting the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, if God would spare its residents from the bubonic plague.
