0The Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary Chorus of Mequon, Wis., will present a free sacred concert for the community on Saturday, March 2, at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 575 Fischer Rd, Sharpsburg. The 49-member chorus will present its concert at 7 p.m. All are invited to attend.
The Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary is a post-secondary school offering theological training that prepares men to enter the pastoral ministry of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod of churches within its confessional fellowship.
For almost 80 years the Seminary Chorus has appeared regularly in congregations to proclaim the Word of God in song and to represent the ministry of the seminary.
The 2013 tour takes the choir to congregations in Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia, and Alabama. The chorus has appeared in 40 of the United States as well as in Canada during its long history.
Faith Lutheran Church is a Christian congregation that worships on Sundays at 8 and 10:30 a.m.
