Flora Alice Link, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away on Feb. 18, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Link and son-in-law, Robert Sample, sisters, Ellen Marsiglia, Marcella Carlson, Mary Frances Jett; brothers, Walter Flint, Carlyle Flint and Leon Flint.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Sample of Fayetteville and her grand-dog, “Star” who brought much happiness to her life; sister, Joan Highcove of Baltimore, Md.; nieces, Janet (Wes) Worsham of Kilmarnock, Va. and Nancy (Robert) Suthard of Chester, Va.; nephew, Walter Dean (Pat) Highcove of Baltimore, Md.; step-children, step-grandchildren, and several other nieces and nephews.
A special “thank-you” to caregiver, Orlanda Ragland and Hospice Advantage to all of our mom’s personal caregivers.
A funeral service will be held later this week at Currie Funeral Home, 116 E. Church St., Kilmarnock, Va., 22482.
