Hopewell UMC’s Chick-N-Que set for this Saturday in Tyrone

The Methodist Men at Tyrone’s Hopewell United Methodist Church will hold their annual Chick-N-Que on Saturday, May 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church. The cost is $8 for half a barbecued chicken, slaw, baked beans, bread, and iced tea. Eat at the pavilion or take the food home to enjoy.

Proceeds from the sale will go to mission projects held throughout the year.

There will also be a bake sale on Saturday, sponsored by the seniors’ group “Recycled Kids.” Proceeds from the sale of baked goods will help the older adults with their yearly projects.

The church is located at 351 Jenkins Rd., across the street from Sandy Creek High, in Tyrone.
