Theresa Rogers DuRant, 82, of Fayetteville

Theresa “Terry” Rogers DuRant, 82, of Fayetteville passed away on October 7, 2017.

She was born on October 6, 1935 in Chattanooga, Tenn. to the late Thomas Paul and Edna Eurton Rogers.

Terry proudly served her country in the Naval Reserve.  She was a lifelong employee of Eastern Airlines and a member of the retirees association.  She was the owner-operator of Shoestring Ceramics.

Terry was preceded in death by her husband, James Oliver DuRant and her parents.  She is survived by her son, Andy DuRant (Joy Bowden, Jayson, and Justin); sister, Tommye Ann Sanders (Grace and Blake); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Reverend John Barnes officiating.  The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to The American Kidney Foundation, https://aakp.org or The Cystic Fybrosis Foundation, https://www.cff.org/.
