0The Tigers Cubs expanded on a history lesson with a bit of hands-on learning as Ashley Travis led her kindergarten students through constructing their own Lincoln Memorials.
While learning about President Abraham Lincoln and the Lincoln Memorial, the class partnered up to construct the Lincoln Memorial using only pasta and playdough.
“My hopes were for students to synergize with a partner to problem solve and to learn about an American symbol and president in a fun and engaging way,” said Travis. “Our kinder Cubs really enjoyed this activity, and I believe it will help them remember this important American symbol.”
