The 7th Annual Ranch on Jesus Yard Sale this weekend, hosted by Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, has become a tradition for the church family and a favorite with bargain shoppers throughout the area.

Donations for the yard sale can be dropped off in the Fellowship Hall until 7 p.m. today (Wednesday). Adult clothing should be limited to in-style, gently used items.

The sale runs Friday, Aug. 3 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kanzi Craft will have a large assortment of African crafts and jewelry for sale as well.

Tax deductible cash contributions are also welcome and can be mailed to: Pearl Ministries, Inc., 100 Woodsdale Drive, Peachtree City, GA 30269.

Pearl Ministries, founded by former Fayette County resident Jamie Rosser Laslo and her husband, Scott, helps orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda. Pearl Ministries is based in Birmingham and its efforts have touched the lives of over 650 Ugandan children.

Over $10,000 was raised at last year’s yard sale and this year’s promises to be even larger. Proceeds will be used to pay the tuition fees for the orphans at Ranch on Jesus in a country where public schools are not common.

Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church is at the corner of Carriage Lane and Ga. Highway 54 across from Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City.
