Robert Lowrie (at right), was recently licensed by the Diocese of the Mid-South and installed as a Eucharistic Minister to serve primarily at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Sharpsburg. Eucharistic Ministers have several responsibilities, one of which is to take Holy Communion to the hospitalized and homebound. They also assist the serving of Holy Communion during regular services of worship.

Lowrie is also a Commissioned Minister in Music and Worship and serves as the Worship Leader at Christ the King. He is also an aspirant for Holy Orders with the goal of being ordained. He was mentored by Deacon Mike Wilton, Palmetto (at left). Lowrie and his wife, Katie, reside in Sharpsburg with their two children.
