How local businesses like Pedego Peachtree City keep the lights on for the neighborhood

On Friday, November 6, the lights go up at Drake Field one more time. It’s the final Night Market of the season, and if you’ve been to even one this year, you know what that means: neighbors waving across the food truck line, kids darting between vendor tents, live music drifting over a field full of folding chairs.

It’s easy to think of Night Market as simply a great night out. But every one of those nights exists because people decided this community was worth showing up for. There are the families who bring a blanket and a hungry crew. And there are the local business owners who put their names behind it, set up a tent, and quietly make sure the whole thing can keep happening. Night Market is free to attend. That’s only possible because the people down the road believe in it.

Pedego Peachtree City, your hometown e-bike shop, is one of those neighbors. They’re back again this season, setting up a spot where folks can stop, chat, and learn what electric bikes are all about, right in the middle of the fun.

Ask anyone who has stopped by and they’ll tell you the best part isn’t the bikes. It’s the conversation. Lisa Macke, owner of Pedego Peachtree City, has a way of making every neighbor feel welcome. You end up swapping family stories and talking about how you spend your weekends. Somewhere along the way, you figure out whether an electric bike is a good fit for you and your family.

That’s what a community event does at its best. It gives neighbors a reason to slow down and get to know each other. And it only works when local businesses and local families keep showing up for one another.

So as this season winds down, here’s a thank-you to everyone who made it happen: the folks in the lawn chairs, the artisans who fill the field with handmade work, the vendors, the musicians, the volunteers, and the business owners who said yes.

See you at Night Market on November 6. Stop by and say hi to Pedego. Or go by their shop on Saturday, November 7, and try one of their bikes for yourself. Bring the family, and bring your stories.
