March 8, 1949 – June 8, 2026
Peachtree City, Georgia •  Age 77

Ellen Willis Rea, 77, of Peachtree City, Georgia, passed away on June 8, 2026. Born and raised in Florida, Ellen spent her life as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and a friend to everyone she ever met. She carried with her a warmth and generosity of spirit that drew others to her.

Ellen built her professional life in mortgage and loan processing, where her diligence and care for people were hallmarks of her work. But it was at home — and wherever family gathered — that Ellen truly shone. She was a natural caregiver, always the first to show up after a health scare, always ready with a warm meal, a steady hand, and an open heart. She extended that same generosity beyond her family, offering kindness and companionship to friends and neighbors who needed it most.

Ellen had a gift for storytelling that could turn any ordinary moment into a memory worth keeping. Her laughter was contagious, her table was always full, and her love of cooking was one of the many ways she showed the people around her how much they meant to her.

She and her husband Mack made their home together in Peachtree City, where she delighted in attending her grandchildren’s events and activities. Ellen cherished every moment with her three grandchildren, and when the title of great-grandmother came along, she embraced it with pure joy.

She is survived by her:

• Husband of 20 years, Mack Rea of Peachtree City, Georgia

• Sister, Kathy Pena-Roque of Orlando, Florida

• Brother, Russell (Peggy) Willis of Orlando, Florida

• Son, Michael Williams of Orlando, Florida

• Son, Trey (Paige) Longenecker of Carrollton, Georgia

• Daughter, Courtney (Ron) Miller of Tyrone, Georgia

• Son, JR Siver of Atlanta, Georgia

• Grandchildren: Ashley, Thomas, and Evan

• Great-grandchildren: Thomley and Tessa

Memorial Service

A memorial service will be Saturday, July 18, 2026 at noon at Christ the King in Sharpsburg, Georgia. 4481 GA-34, Sharpsburg, GA 30277

In Lieu of Flowers

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ellen’s memory to CancerCare (cancercare.org) or WomenHeart (womenheart.org) — two organizations that reflect her lifelong heart for caring for others.

She gave and gave and gave — and we are so much better for having been loved by her.
