As the holiday season continues, Fayette County residents still have time to enjoy two festive favorites: the Gaddy Family Christmas Light Extravaganza and Burton Christmas Lights. Both displays are among the most beloved in the county and offer joyful ways to celebrate the season while bringing neighbors together.

The Gaddy Family Christmas Light Extravaganza turns a simple drive into a magical experience. Visitors are welcomed by towering nutcrackers and guided through thousands of lights and hand-painted scenes featuring Peanuts, Pixar characters, Disney princesses, The Wizard of Oz, and so much more. Thoughtfully arranged and family-friendly, the free display invites guests to slow down, smile, and soak in the wonder of the season. Optional donations benefit March of Dimes and Toys for Tots. The display is open nightly from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM through January 1 at 898 Sandy Creek Road in Fayetteville.

In a quiet Fayetteville neighborhood, the Burton Christmas Lights display brings warmth and holiday cheer through a cozy, animated show created by a single household with a big heart for the community. Visitors can enjoy the spectacle from the comfort of their cars, tuning their radios to 101.9 FM to hear popular Christmas songs perfectly synced with the lights. This creates a magical, shared experience for families and passersby alike. The display runs from the Friday after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve at 165 Stafford Court in Fayetteville, with hours as follows: Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Together, these displays showcase the generosity, creativity, and strong sense of community that make the holiday season in Fayette County especially bright.
