Fayette County, GA — December 11, 2025 — The Fayette Chamber of Commerce marked its 60th Annual Meeting and Awards Celebration at the Hilton Peachtree City Atlanta Hotel & Conference Center, presented by Coweta-Fayette EMC. This milestone event honored outstanding leaders, businesses, and organizations whose contributions exemplify excellence in leadership, community service, economic development, and innovation across Fayette County.

2025 Carolyn Cary Dreambuilder Award: Jason Bass

Sponsored by Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the Carolyn Cary Dreambuilder Award was presented to Jason Bass in recognition of his exceptional leadership in entrepreneurship, mentorship, and innovation. A serial entrepreneur, Bass has played a pivotal role in strengthening Fayette County’s startup ecosystem through initiatives such as Startup Fayette, Peachtree City Night Market, the Pitch Contest, and 1 Million Cups. He also serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Launch Fayette, embodying the transformative spirit of the Dreambuilder legacy.

2025 Chet Wells Award: Chris Madrid

Sponsored by Georgia Power Company, the Chet Wells Award honors individuals who go above and beyond to support the Chamber’s mission. Chris Madrid received this year’s award for his unwavering dedication, tireless service, and steadfast commitment to enhancing Chamber programs and operations. A key contributor to the Nonprofit Committee, Madrid is widely recognized for his consistent willingness to assist wherever needed.

2025 Ambassador of the Year: Cash Rabinowitch

The Chamber named Cash Rabinowitch as its 2025 Ambassador of the Year, recognizing his exceptional commitment to service and community engagement. Ambassadors serve as the welcoming face of the Chamber, and Rabinowitch distinguished himself by attending every ribbon cutting, volunteering at numerous events, and continuing to serve even while recovering from an injury. His enthusiasm and reliability exemplify the heart of the Ambassador program.

2025 Corporate Citizen of the Year: Rinnai

Sponsored by Cooper Lighting Solutions, the Corporate Citizen of the Year Award was presented to Rinnai for its outstanding commitment to community support and corporate philanthropy. The company has made significant contributions to military families through Folds of Honor and Homes for Our Troops, supported local causes including the ALS Association and children’s camps, and encouraged employee volunteerism throughout the region.

2025 Piedmont Fayette Nonprofit Award of Excellence: Midwest Food Bank

Midwest Food Bank received the 2025 Nonprofit Award of Excellence, sponsored by Piedmont Fayette Hospital, for its extraordinary impact in addressing hunger and supporting families in need across Fayette County and beyond. Through partnerships with more than 260 nonprofits, the organization provides critical disaster relief and food assistance. With an estimated $37 million in food distributed this year and support for 22 local agencies, Midwest Food Bank continues to be a cornerstone of community resilience.

2025 Young Gamechanger Award: Casey Shumate

Sponsored by Panasonic Automotive, the Young Gamechanger Award was presented to Casey Shumate for her leadership in revitalizing the Chamber’s Young Professionals program. Shumate has helped rebuild momentum and engagement while contributing significantly to the community through donations to Midwest Food Bank, support for Project Santa, and service on a veterans-focused nonprofit board.

2025 Small Business of the Year: Blue Chip Builders

Blue Chip Builders was named the 2025 Small Business of the Year, sponsored by Trilith Studios, in recognition of its impressive growth, community involvement, and commitment to quality. The company has completed major projects across Fayette County—including renovations at 240 Glynn Street, the Fayette County Development Authority offices, and B. Turner’s in Peachtree City—while also supporting local businesses, youth sports, and charitable initiatives.

2025 Outstanding Businessperson of the Year: Brian Chustz

Sponsored by Coweta-Fayette EMC, the Outstanding Businessperson of the Year Award was presented to Brian Chustz for his exemplary leadership in both business and community service. A U.S. Navy veteran, attorney, and financial advisor, Chustz has provided strategic guidance across multiple sectors and served in key leadership roles, including past chair of the Fayette Chamber Executive Board and chair of the Fayette County SPLOST campaign.
