The City of Fayetteville recently celebrated the official opening of a new, state-of-the-art warehouse facility, now home to two national industry leaders: Graybar and A1 American. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday, December 9, at the newly constructed 205,000-square-foot building located at 227 Promenade Parkway.
Developed by Cameron Property Company / Corvus Investment Group, the Class A commercial facility is now fully leased and will serve as a major southeastern hub for both companies. The project represents a capital investment of approximately $29 million and is expected to create 50 new jobs in Fayetteville across corporate, logistics, and skilled trade roles.
“We are excited to welcome these two businesses to their new home in Fayetteville,” said Economic Development Director Lori Funderwhite. “With Graybar as a Fortune 500 company and A1 American establishing Fayetteville as their East Coast headquarters, these investments exemplify our economic development strategy in action. We are attracting high-quality corporate growth, expanding our commercial tax base, and creating jobs for our community. This synergy underscores Fayetteville’s strategic value as a prime business location.”
The opening of the new Promenade Parkway facility represents a major investment in Fayetteville and further solidifies the city’s position as a destination of choice for corporate relocation and expansion within metro Atlanta.
A Strategic Hub for Industry Leaders
The new Fayetteville facility serves as a flagship STAR Center (Storage, Transport, and Readiness) created to support large, complex construction projects. The center will position critical materials closer to regional job sites and enhance Graybar’s ability to provide labor-saving services and customized delivery options, which will help contractors keep projects on schedule and within budget.
