The Fayette County School Nutrition Program has received the Georgia Farm to School Award for the 2024–2025 school year.

This recognition—presented by the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia Department of Agriculture, University of Georgia Extension, and Georgia Department of Public Health—celebrates efforts to serve locally grown foods and make fresh, healthy meals available to all students.

The Fayette County School Nutrition Program team was recognized at the October School Nutrition Director’s Conference for its continued commitment to student wellness and Georgia farmers.
