Sharon Diane Eckhardt, 71, of Peachtree City, Georgia passed away at Piedmont Fayette Hospital on Thursday, October 16th, 2025. Sharon was born in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada on March 14th, 1954 to Jean MacKinnon and Donald Clark MacKinnon. She attended Woodstock Collegiate Institute.

Sharon married John Phillip Eckhardt, and together they had two children, Shannon Dawn Sylvester and Cameron Clark Eckhardt. She was a wonderful wife and mother. Sharon was very creative and enjoyed creating window treatments, children’s clothing and other craft items. For many years, she volunteered with the Peachtree City Roller Hockey Association where the whole family enjoyed playing. 

Sharon is survived by her brother, Wayne MacKinnon, her husband, John Phillip Eckhardt, her children, Shannon Sylvester and Cameron Eckhardt, and her grandson, Grady Sylvester and was predeceased by her parents, Jean MacKinnon and Donald Clark MacKinnon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 from 2pm – 5pm at her daughter’s home in Peachtree City – 114 Santolina Park, Peachtree City, Georgia, 30269.
